Marigold powder (Tagetes) - 200gm

Create stunning bright yellows with this marigold powder made from dried and ground Tagetes flowers.

Blend with:

• Iron mordant for an olive green

• Black tea or cutch (acacia catechu) for a mustard

• Madder root for an orange/clay

Use at 20% weight of fibre for a medium shade. Increase or decrease for personal preference.

Before dyeing with marigold, mordant your fibre with aluminium.
