Henna powder (Lawsonia inermis) - 200gm

Henna is made from the leaves of the Lawsonia inermis shrub. 

Commonly used in India to stain skin and hair, Henna bonds well to protein fibres (silk/wool), creating a beautiful deep brown/orange. Henna makes a lovely yellow/green on plant fibres (cotton, hemp, linen etc). 

Use at 20-50% weight of fibre (i.e. 20-50gm henna per 100gm fibre) on pre-mordanted fibres.
